Quit India Movement Programme and Quiz Competition
The ISS College of Teacher Education conducted a programme on the Quit India Movement to commemorate the historic struggle for India’s independence. The event aimed to inspire students with the spirit of patriotism and to remind them of the sacrifices made by freedom fighters in 1942.
The programme began with a brief address on the significance of the Quit India Movement, highlighting its role in uniting the nation against colonial rule. Following the talk, a quiz competition was held, focusing on India’s freedom struggle, key leaders, and important events associated with the movement.
Students actively participated in the quiz, showcasing their knowledge and enthusiasm for history. The winners were awarded certificates of appreciation. The programme successfully enhanced students’ understanding of India’s independence movement and encouraged them to value the nation’s hard-earned freedom.
