Resource Talk on “Hormone Imbalances and Conditions among Children and Young Adults”
The Rotary Club, Perinthalmanna (Dist. 3204), in collaboration with ISS College of Teacher Education, Ponniakurussi, Perinthalmanna, organized an insightful Resource Talk on the topic “Hormone Imbalances and Conditions among Children and Young Adults” on 23rd September 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the college seminar hall.
The session was led by the eminent endocrinologist Dr. Vishnu Vasudevan (MD, DM – Endocrinology), who shared valuable insights on the hormonal challenges faced by children and adolescents. His talk focused on the causes, symptoms, and management of hormonal imbalances, highlighting the importance of early diagnosis, lifestyle regulation, and awareness among educators and parents.
The program was conducted under the leadership of Rtn. Dr. Kasim Kolakkadan (President, Rotary Club Perinthalmanna) and Rtn. Prasad V (Secretary, Rotary Club Perinthalmanna). Prof. Samad Mankada, Principal of ISS College of Teacher Education, and Sherin Chacko V, Staff Secretary, coordinated the event efficiently.
The session proved to be highly informative and beneficial for teacher trainees, equipping them with a better understanding of adolescent health and developmental issues. The event successfully reflected the institution’s commitment to promoting holistic education and community well-being.
