On October 19, 2023, Under the Nature club organized a trip to Kodikuthimala, a scenic hill station in Malappuram district, Kerala. The trip was attended by 40 students and 7 faculty members.
Travel
The journey start at 9:45AM from the college. The group traveled by bus from the college to Kodikuthimala, which took approximately 30 minutes. The journey was comfortable and the students enjoyed the scenic views along the way.
Activities
Upon arrival, the group went on a trek to the top of the hill, which took around 1-2 hours.
The trek was challenging but rewarding, with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
At the top of the hill, the group had a picnic refreshment and spent some time relaxing and taking in the views.
Overall, the trip was a great success and the students had a wonderful time. The trip provided an opportunity for the students to bond with each other and with the faculty members outside of the classroom. It also allowed them to experience the natural beauty of Kerala and to engage in physical activity. The college should continue to organize such trips in the future as they are beneficial for the students’ personal and academic growth.
